Three Peaks Honey
New Zealand is known for its beautiful Manuka Flower blush and it is uniquely grown here in Aotearoa. It flowers for just a few weeks each year and the Manuka where Three Peaks bees feed from are in the remote and wild central volcanic plateau of New Zealand’s North Island. Treasured by New Zealander's, this area is home to the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Tongariro National Park.
In their journey to produce the finest Manuka honey, they go to some of the wildest parts of New Zealand. Three Peaks is committed to the sustainable management of the land, conservation of precious indigenous forest, native animals and waterways and growing wonder for the role of bees in nurturing our natural landscape.
Manuka honey is one of the most natural food products you will ever find, and in search of the perfect taste, texture, and quality – we have set our sights on Three Peaks UMF and Multi Blend ranges. UMF tested gives us the assurance we are proving to you exactly what the jar says and the caramel-like taste and smooth texture rounds out their honey experiences very nicely. Raw and unpasteurized. Three Peaks delivers!
There is manuka honey and then there is Three Peaks Manuka Honey. Sourced in the pristine Tongariro National Park and UMF verified. Manuka honey contains over 200 compounds not seen in other honey.
The UMF rating on each pack of Three Peaks Manuka honey represents the proportion of unique signature compounds characterizing Manuka honey that are present in each batch. The medicinal trilogy of Leptosperin, dihydroxyacetone (DHA) and Methylglyoxal (MGO) help make up the UMF rating.
